DESCRIPTION:The Family Project will be running a Parents Plus Special Needs Programme starting the 10th of January 2023 via Zoom from 10am to 12pm\n\n\n \n\n\nThis free programme will be held online and is suitable for parents of children aged 11-15years with an intellectual disability and/or a diagnosis of ASD\n\nThis programme gives parents the opportunity to meet other parents in a supportive group to help your adolescents reach their full potential. The programme can support the following areas: \n\nManage behaviour and emotional problems\nDeal with puberty\, sexuality and relationships\nReduce their own stress as parents\nSupport all relationships in the family\nBuild self-esteem and confidence\nAdvocate for their child or adolescent\nSupport education and development\nPrepare their child for adulthood and future transitions\n\n  \nThis programme will run from the 10th of January 2022 until the 7th of March – This is to allow for a weeks break during the February Midterm \n\n\n\n \n\n\nSpaces are limited and will be filled on a first come first serve basis.
